Interesting post-game comments from Lebron. Apparently the coach drew up a play - 1.5 seconds left, tie game - which had Lebron inbounding the ball.

Not taking the shot or even being a decoy. Inbounding.

Lebron said no. Scratched the play. Request denied! Said to give him the ball (meaning in-bounds) and everyone get outta the way.

Which is what ended up happening. Of course. Anyone who thinks Lebron is not on charge is a bit mental.

And it was successful. Not a huge surprise. Lebron is a pretty good player.



And Lebron made it very clear to the media exactly how that went down. Interesting dynamic, to come out and say that publicly like that. Coach wanted to do something comparable to not using Marshawn Lynch on 2nd and 1 to win the Super Bowl. He deserves to be criticized.

Lebron had a couple choices. Could have overrode the play but kept quiet. Instead he opted for : squash him like a bug then stick him on a skewer.
