I just did a quick Google look and it's clear that it does work to some degree all over.

Difference seems to be due to the mechanisms of hair loss in different areas. For example, crown balding is more from cells losing blood flow (minoxidil helps) whereas thinning is from full on cell death (doesnt help).

started losing my hair on my crown about 2 years ago. 8 months ago, it was noticeable. i was ready to adopt the bic'd scalp until WOK said she was not ready for that.

she got me the costco version of minoxidil and it fucking worked.

crazy.

Tron sort of asked. I THINK it's probably done good for my overall thickness, though I'm using it to target crown balding. For $44 you can try a 6mo treatment and decide for yourself. Just give it a fair chance by sticking to it.

So first off, thank you for that link! Much better price than I had seen anywhere else.

I received mine a few days ago and I’ve been applying it twice daily.

My question is, how specifically do you apply yours? I ask because the product is much more watery than I had anticipated and sometimes the drops run right off my scalp and on to my forehead or back of my neck.

Are you rubbing each droplet into your scalp with your fingers?

I wish the product was a little more foamy.

Yeah, it's as thin as water. I usually just squirt the 1ml on spreading it around with the tip of the dropper as I go and then quickly use the four fingers of one hand to massage it in (and spread it). I used to be dainty about it but now I just let it rip, squirt it and rub it - no homo.

They make a foam (at least Rogaine brand, probably some generics like Kirkland). Perhaps that's what the price discount is?

Relatedly, i got my hair cut today and my barber asked if I was using. Then I got home and my wife actually paid me a compliment.
