I always see winter as Dec-Jan-Feb! Once I get in March no long term cold is possible! Officially though CB we have a 2.5 months left of winter! This is why there can never be a Winter of Love! Only Summer of Love! Luv ya!

I was out for exactly 39 mins getting wife's car and mine unburied from street parking.

alternated periods of working for 3-4 mins with 2-3 inside getting hands warm. I had 7 layers on, very warm and sweating, could have stayed out much longer but I have shit gloves

we spent an hour yesterday clearing our spots, but the snow plows bured another 2 feet almost covering the tires in slushy snow that froze to the -12 F condition. Almost broke my shovel trying to break the ice up. Thankfully I got big steel toed hunting boats and a good kicking motion, that was the only way we would have gotten out.

For once, my planning seemed to have worked out. I am leaving for Varadero, Cuba for a week of sun/fun starting Wed morning. I have had the luxury of dealing with a bunch of this freezing weather and I will be more than happy to leave it behind for a week.
