Durito. No good will come out of you bringing your family to the States. Things progressively get worse here. You have been able to successfully handle your business electronically thus far, no?

This very well may be, but this place is no place for a family either. And it's expensive for some reason I can't even grasp. My business is a pain sometimes, I'd like to have some options to fall back on -- not sure what those might be, but surely I can get some sort of job in the USA if need be.

Well I disagree about this.

I would say for what you do and the way the market is rightnow...Vegas makes the most sense. You can buy real estate there so reasonably right now that it just makes the most sense by far. I am sure you will be able to make some money on whatever property you buy there alone....

ok I called the dude

First file I-129F ($455) that's the petition for the fiance visa.
Along with that file G-325A, that's the biographies of all the parties' involved, you, your daughter and madeleyne. Basically all the evidence you have of your history with her there, photos etc, basically stuff that proves yall didn't meet last week and is some type of fraud.
Then they'll ask for an Affidavit of Support I-864, proving your income, W2s etc.
Then they'll approve you in around 4 weeks, from date of approval you have 120 days to complete the whole process.
USCIS will turn you over to the State Dept where you can make an appointment with the Embassy. Embassy will ask for a couple of requirements, police reports, DAS, blood work, etc around 10 items. When you have all the documents you go to the appointment and they'll issue them a visa. 90 days in which you have marry her.
With the marriage certificate they file I-485 ($1,010) application to become permanent resident. In around 30 days she will be finger printed, photo etc. and mailed a permanent resident card.
In 3 years she can apply for Citizenship if she doesn't leave the country for more than 3 months at a time.

That's because you have a political standpoint. Republican, right? I may be wrong, but I thought I saw that somewhere.

Durito, if you are hankering to move back to the States, you may want to consider some of the nicely nestled states in the middle of the country.

I pretty much quit politics, but I do like to battle Republicans from time to time.

I can't say I'd be thrilled about raising a daughter in the present USA, but it can't be anymore fucked than here (or maybe it is and I've forgotten).

I would say I am a moderate that leans slightly to the right. I think both political parties in this country are shit but that doesn't change the fact that this country is still better than 90% of the places out there. I know this is the worst possible time to actually talk about this as we seem to be at a low point in our lifetimes but it will turn around. Call me optimistic.

Durito, that comment was for Amby, just in case. The two main political parties in this country are ridiculous. My personal feelings side with neither as a majority. I listen to AM radio on my way home from work, which is riddled with conservative propaganda. I often wonder if there is any possible platform in which both sides DO agree. I highly doubt it. These people make a living disagreeing with each other, legally gambling with our tax dollars.

I don't disagree that AM radio is riddled with conservative propaganda but print media is riddled with left wing propaganda...so pick your poison.
