This is the one time I would agree with firing a seemingly decent coach. That's 3 years of underperforming. Maybe something not right with the chemistry.

Hitchcock is asked after the break if he considered removing Allen when he gave up the 1st softie.
"oh no, not a chance, he's young he's learning". 30 seconds later Allen gives up the softest goal you'll ever see, Hitchcock yanks him right away

lolz, I just rewatched that. Hitchcock actually said "you gotta stick with him" then he pulled him less than a minute later.
