That all sounds pretty good. The catch is, are they looking to hire someone from a foreign country who probably needs a couple months advanced notice to get himself prepared and situated?

And the other catch is, I may already have a job. I don't know what is going on with that.

Yeah that is an issue. I actually don't know the answer to that. I suppose it is complicated.

Just to tie a little ribbon on this situation, I finally had a good chat with the agency recruiter who got me in there. I don't know what to say. Not that it matters now because, as I said in the other glorious thread, I scored a dream job anyway - but these people are nuts. Well maybe not nuts but unprofessional? Goofy?

I don't know what they are.

Basically what happened was, after I had been there for three days they decided to change the job description - which wouldn't have actually mattered because I can do whatever they want - but they decided the job was going to pay less. Like WAY less. Like slashing 30% off the pay I agreed to.

Madness. Even if I didn't have my new job, my answer would have been somewhere between FOK NO!! and ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR EVERLOVING MINDS?!?!

Good thing that events unfolded as they did because if I had declined my interview today, thinking that I already had a job - and then they pulled something like that, I would be going in there looking to skin someone.

So whatever, I am leaving those tools in my rearview.

The end.

I was confused, I was coming in this thread to say "whoo hoo" , or "way to go" or something of that nature, and this is about the old job. I got it now. This is where the action is,http://gamelive.com/forum/showthread.php/11200-HOME-RUN-BOYS-AND-GIRLS-!!!!

Whoo hoo :cheersbuddy: on the new job Muddy. I just want to give these whoo hoos to be for the right thing, not for something tragic.

Good luck on the new job
