FL doesnt have state tax does it?
thought I've heard that before. or maybe it was another state... Texas maybe?
I pay 33% for self employment tax plus state tax.

I agree with Oxy, I'd take the heat over the cold anyday, although I'd rather be in the panhandle on the coast somewhere then anywhere else in FL

Oskana, we love FLA too! The weather can't be beat but your food selections aren't ones we would care for if we had other choices! You can always find though 1-2 or so of the non-franchise type places that make food to die for!

Here's the place to try if ever in the area of Venice, FLA! Luna's on Rt 41! Only had pizza and steak type sandwiches but better than any sandwich in our NJ area and pizza doesn't rate as good as Mack's down the Jersey shore but then none does for us!

Luna's has great food. It might cost a little more, but the meals are large and taste great.

I have lived and dined all over the world. I enjoy a good Italian meal, and Luna's does it for me.

For those who complain, they are the people that think Domino's has good pizza, and Denny's is the best breakfast. The poeple in Venice have no taste when it comes to dinning.

So if you like crappy food, then dont eat at Luna's, I will.

haha yeah I've been to NY. And actually the bagels I can find here in one heavily orthodox suburb (they even have the strings hanging from the street lights to signify something I can't remember right now) almost compare. But I love an Einstein bagel. I love the Everything bagel the most of all with lite cream cheese. And then just a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Or even a toasted cinnamon and raisin bagel smucked with butter. I rate NYC right up there with London as for where I'd love to be from Dec 24-26 every year. And I've lived in London but if I never live in NYC I won't feel like I'm missing much. The countries I've lived in seemed to have filled that void that some people need to fill when reaching for their dreams in NYC.

And I was one of the jackasses to vote Nader in that election. My first ever US election living in the States and while living in Orlando I picked the donkey that helped to fuck us all over. Top 5 most shameful moments of my life although the gift basket bribes when the possibility of a recount was still hanging sure helped ease the pain. :)

I was talking about the Casey Anthony trial, but that election was just as shameful. Thanks for reminding me of ANOTHER reason why I hate Florida..lol.

Shit sorry. I should've realised when you said jurors but as soon as anyone starts railing on FL it tends to lead back to that one election.

Wow. I dye my hair but the blonde roots show. Good thing with the money you'll owe me from our bet I can afford to get those roots wiped out, no???!!!
