Wikipedia says that the income tax on an 80k salary is 21.9%. :clueless:

I live here: $180,001 and over = $60,630 plus 45c for each $1 over $180,000 plus I pay tax to the US and Canada because of property, capital gains, etc...

Whereas if I still could claim FL as my primary residence it'd be this period: 33% Head of Household $190,551 - $373,650

Oksana, I assume you have been to New York? Bagels and subs in Florida are at best second rate to the delis and bagels in NYC. My madre lives in Florida and I refuse to visit her there. Humidity, slow rednecks and 12 jurors that couldn't find their ass from their elbow makes me a hater of all things Florida.

haha yeah I've been to NY. And actually the bagels I can find here in one heavily orthodox suburb (they even have the strings hanging from the street lights to signify something I can't remember right now) almost compare. But I love an Einstein bagel. I love the Everything bagel the most of all with lite cream cheese. And then just a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Or even a toasted cinnamon and raisin bagel smucked with butter. I rate NYC right up there with London as for where I'd love to be from Dec 24-26 every year. And I've lived in London but if I never live in NYC I won't feel like I'm missing much. The countries I've lived in seemed to have filled that void that some people need to fill when reaching for their dreams in NYC.

And I was one of the jackasses to vote Nader in that election. My first ever US election living in the States and while living in Orlando I picked the donkey that helped to fuck us all over. Top 5 most shameful moments of my life although the gift basket bribes when the possibility of a recount was still hanging sure helped ease the pain. :)

You didn't even see the Big Al tribute pic????? (see my edit above)

Daffy, I love that weather. I truly do. I was offered a job when I was still finishing my grad stuff and they gave me a choice of like 40 places to live in the States. I picked Orlando because it was the furthest place away from Thunder Bay and I knew I couldn't just drive home in a couple of hours if I wanted to puss out. When I got there I have distinct memories of driving to work thinking that I'll never be happier than that. The only thing I hated were the love bugs which might be an Orlando thing. I loved the weather. I loved how it got cold for like 4 weeks and people would turn their fires on, etc... My best friend visited me at NY one year and we sat at Daytona Beach like losers with our togues and socks on because she was determined to say she sun tanned in FL. And the whole time we drank and laughed our asses off because if we were doing that back home, we'd be dead from frostbite. I really love FL. Other than Italy it's my favourite place ever and I'm envious of those still there.

Oksana is an international woman of mystery.

Archie where does Big Al buy her hats?

she doesn't wear many hats

she's pretty simple

in fact its a point of dispute right now

I have like 2.5 more the amount of clothes in the apartment right now. and I haven't totally brought all my stuff over from my house yet

she is making me throw away very very very memorable clothes and shit.

she likes to be very light and able to move about easily and quickly.... I like to plant and save
