It's a few miles away. The condo is at the very south end of Jaco - just off the beach.

It's getting very John LeCarre-ish. A lot of deep significant glances and forced plot points based on dubious motivations.

I don't know why, when I hear John LeCarre, I have a reaction of, "Oh! Might be good!" I'm not sure I've ever been blown away by anything based on LeCarre. I don't think I even made it all the way through The Little Drummer Girl. The most recent Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy was a thumbs down for me.

He's done some thing I was okay with though. The Night Manager, I'm finding okay so far. 6 out of 10 kinda deal.

Finally watched the premier of Vinyl last night and am wondering how you guys aren't glued to this thing? I'm guessing the show gets significantly worse after that? Hopefully not. Very gripping and unpredictable with great cast, acting (particularly the lead who played one of the best villains in the history of television prior) and soundtrack.
