I allowed the Hamsterdam thing as an interesting philosophical discussion point as much as something literal. Maybe that was forgiving on my part.

I don't even recall the bit about the kidnapped dealers. I have been saying it repeatedly but: it really is time for me to rewatch the whole thing.
 
I thought I remembered that scene, but then I realized I was thinking about The Sopranos, with Paulie and Chris.

One thing that caught my eye recently is a new movie starring Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe called Broken City. Not that the movie itself has grabbed me - I have no idea about it - but I noticed that Wahlberg is being consistently billed above Crowe in the ads.

I certainly remember a time not so long ago that would not have happened, no way. Seems like Crowe stock is slipping.

That's because Russell Crowe is in a supporting role and Mark Wahlberg is the protagonist (i.e. main character).

Supporting actors almost never get billed above the lead.
