I have never seen Kevin Hart in a movie nor have I seen his stand-up. I have only seen a small number of clips and talk show appearances and I think he did something at the Oscars.

My impression at this point: a startlingly, thoroughly unappealing person.

The Railway Man (2014) - I found this to be a very good film. A rare film that I rate higher than imdb.

The subject matter is not new. Atrocities of war and the aftermath. But I found it very well told, acted and edited, with some turns that were thoughtful to say the least.

For me - quite a bit better than most of the Best Picture nominees from last year. Probably all.

8 out of 10.

Just took a peek when the next season of The Knick will be starting up. It was awhile since season 1 wrapped.

There is no date listed yet on imdb and all I can find anywhere is: 4th quarter of 2015.


People need to get much more serious and proactive about providing me with entertainment.



Looks like season 7 of Mad Men is not too far off. Apr 5th, I'm seeing.
