SOA finale tasteful, imo. Nowhere near the quality of Braking Bad of course but similar in that just about all loose ends were tied up. Parting scene with Jimmy Smits was extremely powerful. When we compare it to disaster endings such as The Sopranos, Dexter and Seinfeld had it gets the nod for a good ending. We know what happened.

7.5 baconballs

It tailed out but man, good run for that show.

So the Golden Globe nominations are out and Birdman leads with 7. Gotta admit I'm puzzled by some. Not that I have seen most of these, but just based on buzz.

The 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will be presented Jan. 11 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Anyway, a lot of stuff I would like to see. Here they are.

I've seen very little of that actually. I think 2 movies? Boyhood and Gone Girl. A bit more of the TV. I can get behind Martin Freeman and Clive Owen. Both would be dark horses I guess tho. :dunno:

No Jennifer Lawrence and no Anne Hathaway and no Julia Roberts. I can get behind those omissions.
But yes Keira Knightley and yes Rosamund Pike
