So where are you standing on The Affair MrM?

Seems like there is so little happening - and the few things that are slowly happening don't have much to do with much - and there are more and more characters who just suck.

They're really working hard to make sure everybody sucks.

5 episodes down - 5 to go. But then I understand it's possible that, though it seems like it should be a one-and-done, there may be more seasons.

Gonna be a gametime decision if I watch the next episode.

SOA winding down

The TIG/Tranny shit :tully:

much keeps happening, the big secret finally comes out and we see the backlash

They've been doing 90 minute or so episodes which is really cool. Nowhere as good as it was years ago, but they're doing what they can. Just not all that substance left to work with.

The Jeopardy Tournament of Champions has started. Time to see if my prediction that Julia Collins (who put together the 2nd longest winning streak in Jeopardy history after Ken Jennings) is any good or, as I believe, just came up against an astonishing streak of incompetent knobs, and will go nowhere against real playaz like Arthur Chu and the rest.

I'm here to recommend the movie In The Company of Men, the 1997 directorial debut of Neil Labute, which I recently rewatched.

Now I don't know where that would fall on the collective gamelive radar and perhaps everyone is now saying, "Jesus christ, buttbutt. Already seen it. DUHHHH!!"

But anyway, lobbing it out there just in case. It is one nasty but fascinating piece of work.
