Since know one is doing the right thing, I'll also mention that there is this:

So the director of Sleepaway Camp created the movie when he was 25 and just graduated from NYU. He then became a lawyer, focused on his family, and never made another movie.

18 years later a guy that created the films website, knocks on his door and is like, "Hey dude that movie you made is a cult classic..".

They are in the process of making a remake.

All the gay stuff in the movie is foreshadowing for the end. Revolutionary at the time.

Boyhood seems like one of those "critics darlings" kind of films. Like with a lot of lesbians eating pudding. Well no, not that, but the clips I saw have an almost Terence Malick vibe coming off them.

Like a lot of focus on really ordinary things that are supposed to make you say, "Wow. Ordinary things." But for me that usually ends up being more like :dunno:

I say Terence Malick vibe. I might as well just say Richard Linklater vibe. Some of his prior films have been like that too. Not as zit-squeezy as Terence Malick but still :dunno:

Hopefully not.

It is a bit of a stunt film. It was filmed over 11 years and the child characters actually grow and change before your eyes. So that's interesting and I guess a lot of things could have gone wrong with that. So kudos on the bold concept I guess.

But to me that is just that, a stunt. It still needs to be a good story well told. So we'll see.

The new movie Boyhood is getting the raviest reviews I have seen in awhile. It's a Richard Linklater film - and I have not been a huge fan over the years - but we shall see.

Sex Tape and Wish I Was Here ---> Pretty big thumbs down across the board

Big fan of Dazed and Confused and Slacker or maybe it's called Slackers I can't remember

It may not be called that at all

It's about a bunch of kids hanging out around a convenience store (not ground breaking but still)

Apparently I need to see Sleepaway Camp again

Yes I said again
