I've noticed that people on TV/movies abruptly hang up the phone more than people in real life.

Like, it's not uncommon for a TV person to not say goodbye before they hang up the phone.

The person on the other side of the line has to be like, "wait, did you just hang up on me motherfucker?"

About the abrupt hanging up of phones and the potential you mutherfucker reaction ---> true, true.

The other thing I notice is how often they walk away from an unfinished drink. Sometimes I am almost freaking out here pointing at the still half-full glass on the bar - HEYYYY! - as they wander off.

It's an alcoholic thing I guess. Decades since I got clean and sober but seems like that hooch awareness will never leave me.

Really enjoyed Fargo again. That's 3 very good episodes and one ok one imo. We are thankful for this development.

Jack Bauer is back, and he's pissed. Yvonne Strahovski (Hannah from Dexter) plays a main role in 24: Live Another Day.

We're on board with that shit.

She was also on Louie this week. She was running around in bra and panties and I gotta say ---> I was not blown away. I mean, she is far from an eyesore - I'm not saying that - I would bang her and consider it a pretty lucky day in my life - let's be clear - but in terms of world-class, crme-de-la-crme? Something wasn't working as totally as I might have suspected.

Too muscular/not feminine enough somehow?

She has a great face and hair though.

Aesthetically pleasing noggin.

:handshake:

Fargo is pretty shitty TV (in a good way?) Not sure that the Coen brothers looked very closely at what they were asked to sponsor.

Billy Bob is atrocious as the supervillain.

Did she do it for you in Dexter Muddy?

Cami's never seen The Wire.

Yep we'll do that.

Well she came along on Dexter when things were getting (IMO) completely atrocious - so she is forever linked in my mind to atrociousness as far as that goes.

Looks-wise, my feelings were exactly the same. Good face/hair, questionable bod.

It was weird with her. They tip-toed all around getting her nekkid - and never pulled the trigger. It didn't make sense to me. Chicks had gotten nekkid on Dexter before and who the fuck is she to have demands about that? There are a zillion other minimally competent, hot chicks in show biz - just plug in someone who will get nekkid.

But I dunno what the thinking was.

As I say I had vague, hard-to-put-my-finger-on questions about her physique but let's not be crazy. I would have liked to see her nekkid. Just on principle.

Also agreed on Fargo. I will keep watching but it is far from an all-timer. Maybe - maybe - a 7 out of 10 right now, still on some momentum of a very good first episode.

But barring some kind of surprising rebound, it will end up in the 6's for me. Which is fine. But it ain't no Coen brothers.

Billy Bob is atrocious as the supervillian

You're using a very strong adjective.

He's fun to watch because he delivers his lines in a very delightful manner.

Re-lower your expectations for this show, Mattypoo.

This show is only fun if you ignore reality (what it's based on lol) and all of the utterly ridiculous police procedures.
