Episode 2 of Fargo prolly not as good as #1 but fok it - still good. I am fully invested.


The opening title cards are interesting. This is a true story. At the request of the survivors, the names have been changed. Out of respect for the dead the rest has been told exactly as it occurred.



Someone on imdb was complaining today that they should not have worded it that way, that saying "exactly" assures that it is a lie as some minor details must be at least a bit different. Very serious.

I told them that, no, it is exactly as it happened. I know because I saw the whole thing. Every inch of it.

Sometimes I ponder how different the world would be if dim people were not allowed to have computers.

I wonder why, after that initial car mishap in episode 1, Billy-Bob stuck the deer in the trunk. Just a random act of an unglued individual or does anyone have a rational explanation?

My train of thought was an explanation for blood, markings etc. in the trunk besides having a human in there, though the human looked to be unscathed so I don't know.

Pretty sure the chick cop said that the human they found dead at the tree was not bleeding. I am certain the deer was in the trunk to try and cover and forensics left behind from the human.

I guess maybe but it seems inconsistent with the nature of the character. It's not like he had anything invested in that car. The fat guy was running loose to do who-knows-what? and he kinda shrugged that off.

It's not like he was carefully monitoring forensic evidence in other messy situations.

I dunno. He seems like an Anton Chigurh kinda psychopath who just says fuck you - not one to fuss over housekeeping.

But still, he did what he did.

Ep 2 was much weaker IMO. How long is this supposed to be?

Never mind, I found it. Six episodes. Sounds about right.

I'm seeing 10 episodes, but I'm seeing some weirdness with the number of episodes that different characters appear in. I don't even want to talk about it because I'm not sure if it's a spoiler or a mindfuck or what.

At least one character is showing as being in 10 episodes, and there are 10 episodes listed with dates. But then some other major characters were showing as being in 6 episodes a couple days ago - which I was scratching my head over. But since then they have changed to 7.

Don't know what's going on.

Just watched S1 E1 of Fargo and I enjoyed it a lot.
