We did the House of Lies/True Detective/Shameless run last night.

House of lies - past two episodes have been alright, I wanted more pop for the whole crew being back together SPOILER. I like where it's going though. His son annoys me not going into why he's just fokking annoying.

Shameless - really has come on strong past couple of weeks imo. They went dark side on us and I like it. Some moments I need to turn around for and I'm not going into why, not judgmental but I mean come the fok on already with that.

True Detective - I just hope this thing lasts as long as possible. There are so many directions they can take this thing and it's just a fucking masterpiece. It delivers horror, dark humor, drama, whatever you need. Don't waste your time watching it.

My take on HOL:
Still love the show and characters, Too much Doug/wife crap that I could do with out.

Shameless:
Great show still for me. I find myself wondering when Frank will croak. With Fiona on house arrest, I don't really see how much longer they keep this going. maybe another season or two...but seems like they would run out of plot twists.

TD:
I do really enjoy this, this last episode answered some questions, but wasn't all that action packed, which is ok. I personally don't feel like this is a series that will last long. I could be wrong, and maybe there will be a new twist, but I feel like they are coming full circle prematurely. My guess is that in Rust's time off, he has still been studying the cases and found some new information. I don't see him actually being the killer. So then short of another weird murder happening, I just don't know how far this can go short of Rust getting his job back and then it becomes a show that lasts forever like Law and order and all those other detective shows.

Big fan of the dialogue and overall depiction of struggling 20-somethings in a big urban setting. There's nothing else like it on TV. Lena Dunham is wise beyond her years.

Just cover your eyes when she gets nekkid.
