Seriously though, remember say 20+ or longer or shorter years ago, I always looked at it this way, movies as being Major LBases and TV as Minor LBases! You would never every see above average movie actors being seen dead in a TV series! I don't know, things I see have changed!

Poor potential newcomer actors losing out on roles cause of TV shows taking the proven movie name over them! Plus all these goofy reality shows out there that you or I could do!

I agree with Muddy completely!

I'm kinda holding steady with it. It has never been a top favorite but it has some elements I like and I will keep going.

I'm glad to be rid of that Steve guy and the whole contrived thing around him (although I'm expecting him to suddenly show up at some point).

Can't imagine Fiona's job/boss situation working out longterm. Don't know how I feel about that. I like the job but not the guy. But whatever, in the spirit of the show she probably needs to be struggling more.

What she really needs is me. On the side. I don't want her kids but on the side is acceptable.

Her (2013) - Currently my vote for best movie of last year and it's not close. So much inspiration on display. Scene-after-scene. Whole helluva lot to think about in that movie.

Joaquin Phoenix was amazing and he didn't even get an Oscar nomination. Beyond belief to me. When I look at this performance plus The Master last year, I can't think of anyone who is better. There's Daniel Day-Lewis and that guy and then the rest.

Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) - Could be my least favorite Coen brothers movie. I'd like to hear them speak about what they were shooting for with that. More-or-less straight art film I guess.

It's not actually bad; it had a few bits which I found really effective (although depressing); I liked some of the music (although I did not immediately rush to download the soundtrack as some people did. I don't see that download in my immediate future.)

It was okay. I'll probably check it out again in a couple years and see how I feel then.

Didn't catch that that was the same year on both.

He is quite simply the best actor, yes the bad rap music still echos in my head like anyone else but that's a good fucking year.
