It was even worse when they first introduced it and she was supposed to be a bit fatter. It stuck out like several sore thumbs. I keep expecting something interesting to happen relating to it. They must know they are sacrificing visual integrity - there should be a significant reason.

Like with Peggy in season 1 with the pregnancy arc, she looked ridiculous but at least there was a payoff.

With Betty, nothing. A few minor throw-away exchanges. Maybe something is still to come but so far I can't help but ask why bother? If they are really determined to touch on weight issues of that era, just leave her appearance alone and do it through good writing. Maybe she's an early bulimic? I dunno - something else. :dunno:

What's with these actors anyway? Can peeps not just gain a bunch of weight for their craft??? Bunch of long-haired pot-smoking hippies is what it is.

I am ashamed to say that I enjoyed watching The Voice a little last night. Idol is unwatchable as long as this troll Nicki Minaj is on the show and The Voice is better now.

If you think this is attractive no matter how much alcohol you have had than I don't understand you.

The Game is a classic 1996 thriller starring Michael Douglas and Sean Penn. Watched it last night for the first time in a long time. Some moments will have you saying BS, but this one does stand the test of time. 8.8 Camibuttcracks. If you're looking for an old school diamond in the rough (not Muddy old school meaning not from the 1800's) then this is probably a good pick for you, it's on Netflicks.

American Gangster (2007) - I saw this when it first came out and it didn't leave much of an impression. I passed up many a chance to check it out again over the years. Anyway, I finally got around to it - and I thought it was great.

Must've been in a mood when I first saw it? :dunno:

8 out of 10

Personally, I would not get into something of this nature with out know what it was. The only thing that didn't make much sense, at least logically to me, is that if you pay them, if you know it's a game, why be scared? You know that it will be over eventually and you will be just fine. He spoke with a man about it that had played like a year ago. Although, to his credit, they really did a lot of fucked up shit to him. They really screwed with his head, the ending was all jacked up. At any rate, it's a good watch. Just knowing though, that it was all a game, made it less thrilling for me as the viewer.

Also Steve mentioned how great it was for it's time as far technology wise and what not, he says "you remember what it was like in '96?" My response... "Not really, I was only in sixth grade!"

All in all, I'll give it 7.5 Stevieballs

Rewatched the Mad Men season premiere. Noticed little bits that escaped me the first time around, like the fact that the doc's wife gave Don the book, which means that Don's been a bad boy for a while. Other than that, I'm still weirded out by the new pace of the show. It used to be slower and less choppy.

:dunno: Let's see what happens. Interesting start to the season.

About a month back Jenny started telling me about a show she likes which is Grimm. It's on Friday nights and I said she should invite me over to watch it and she did. Since then I have been getting invited every Friday.

By Friday night I am ready for a break and I like hanging out with Jenny so I always say sure, but this show Grimm ----> it's not a particularly good show.
