Ouch. I can't tell if that turn got sharper at the end, and he just couldn't hold it, or if he intended to use the whole road and just didn't see the car until too late. I think the former. Those decreasing radius turns can really fuck with you.

It looks like a bit of everything. On top of that, I think that good ol' target fixation convinced him to try and go around the car instead of sticking the turn.

If he couldn't hold the turn, he did the right thing after that. If he lays it down and hits the car, he's dead. If he hits the car still upright, he's probably dead, and certainly very, very broken.

best part is when the rolling stops and you just laying there looking at the branches.

Pretty sure the camera came off the helmet, or whatever it was mounted to. Do humans really tumble that fast?

I'm curious if the helmet came off. It seemed to go into a spin after the first big impact that seemed much faster than a whole body would spin, and you stop seeing his arms. Actually, now that I think about it, maybe just the camera came off.

I hope his head didn't come off.

On that one it looks like the camera came off, it's spinning too fast, but the body can tumble pretty quick too. I experienced something similar in a car that flipped over 6 times by eye witness. I remember seeing just dark and light while hitting up and down inside the car, to the effect of that camera.

When you can walk back to the road holding the camera and filming yourself at the same time it's a good indication you survived the crash.
