Demo ride on an impossibly sexy Ducati 959 Panigale at 1pm today. No intention on buying it, I just want 30 minutes of fun on a borrowed bike.

I'm thinking it's time to get a new bike.

I'm still completely in love with my Vstrom, and I might just get another one. It's really the perfect bike for me.

Primary motivation is to go a couple years newer and have anti-lock brakes. Pretty nice safety feature on a car, but many times more so on a motorcycle.

All you tall lanky guys go for the V-Strom 1000. To the point that I was recently able to tell a lanky guy I'd just met that he probably owned a V-Strom 1000. He did. I think I scared him.

I'd get a KLR if I was shopping for a tall enduro type bike. Love the basic ruggedness of it.
