Damn it was 96 on the way back home. Felt like 106 with the traffic. I had to gun it to 120 mph just to cool off. But I have a nice dark farmer's tan. And I made it home 20 min faster and took a power nap before going to the gym.

Waiting in line at Timmies, holding my helmet in one hand. This construction guy enters and lines up behind me.

Him - King West life, buddy.
Me - What?
Him - *nods* King West life.
Me - Haha, okay.

5 minutes later, I catch my reflection in the elevator mirror. Helmet, backpack, dress shirt, dark jeans and dress shoes. This guy's right. I'm a downtown Toronto stereotype.

I look fokkin' good.

Hey Matty. I met this guy that has an 80's Honda Passport 70cc bike sitting in his garage. It is not in running condition but I am going to look at all the pieces and I may get it for $200. As you know, I am not a motorbike guy, but this looks like it could be a cool little project. From what I can tell it should be pretty easy to get parts for. It resembles this:

If I get it running my girlfriend may use it or I may just sell it in the spring.

It's just sitting there lonely in this garage; apparently the guys nephew's took it apart awhile ago and it has just sat there; All the parts are there. I'm guessing as long as the engine turns over and the wheels are straight that it should not be too much trouble to get going? Also, he has no ownership but I don't think that will be too difficult to fix, from what I was reading about it.

Motorcyclist killed in anti-helmet rally

A man riding bareheaded on one of about 550 motorcycles in an anti-helmet law rally lost control of his cycle, went over his handlebars, hit his head on the pavement and died near Syracuse, N.Y., police said Sunday.

The motorcyclist, 55-year-old Philip A. Contos, likely would have survived the accident if he'd been wearing a helmet, state troopers said.
