My 600sq ft, 1br + den condo sells for ~320k. A proper 2br, at 750sq ft or so, is around 450k. That's what we'll be looking at next year. You can't touch a rowhouse for less than 700k in the area. Detached is 7 figures.

the degree is property values from place to place always amazes me. My sister is selling her house. Had 2,741 sq. ft, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with an acre of land and can't get $300,000 for it.

So when did you realize the keys were missing?

Did you just leave the engine on while you were looking for them?

What would you have done if you never found them?

I saw something shiny in my right mirror - thought it was my iphone at first. I was already planning to loop around when I realized that there was no key in the ignition anymore. :surrender: ignition and key are so worn down that there is no force keeping the key in.

Without the key I would've had to ride home, use the engine kill switch, take out the battery then wait for my new ignition assembly to show up in the mail. Just bought a new one off eBay for 25 bucks.

You can get a similar mansion by driving just 2 hours north of Toronto. Woman's uncle bought a 2,500sq ft, 4br 2ba, recently renovated Victorian for $250k. Same thing in downtown TO? Add a zero.

The Chinese nouveau riche are killing us.
