2nd ride of the year today in -5 Canadian degrees, some 45 minutes long. Bit uncomfortable on the highway, but once back into town it's pure fun and incredulous stares from passersby.

Got the thumbs up from an old guy who was bringing his Fender guitar case into Long & McQuade on Bloor W.

Exactly the kind of old guy one wants to get the thumbs up from.

Getting onto the Gardiner Expressway... Rogers Centre (Jays) is sort of visible at 0:05 and Air Canada Centre (Leafs) at 0:52

Fast-forward the vid below to 2:55 - not sure why, but the impact over the railtracks was so hard that my bike downshifted by itself, and my keys flew out of the ignition and onto the street : I retrieve my 3 keys and broken keychain at 10:55. :

Taped my key to the ignition on the way back. I need to replace the whole thing. Key shouldn't be able to just pop out like that.

And nah, my work and apt are between the Marlies arena and Rogers Centre/ACC. Ricoh Coliseum is just a bit west of there.

now that looks a little more like something. How much for one of those high rise condos?

My 600sq ft, 1br + den condo sells for ~320k. A proper 2br, at 750sq ft or so, is around 450k. That's what we'll be looking at next year. You can't touch a rowhouse for less than 700k in the area. Detached is 7 figures.
