Lots of people use pal. My favorite radio guy has been using pal since before the internet. If jj used it, no doubt he was copying someone.

Where the people at work got never heard of ya pal from is me. I use it in all kinds of stupid, hopefully funny situations - it has caught on.

Just like gamelive. People do little things and they catch on and become part of the culture for either short or long term. I could lob out a hundred examples.

That's what happens at work with me probably being the leading initiator. Some of them aren't even verbal. Apparently I have a thing I do with my arms/hands to express faux-angst that people have some fun with. Now that I think of it, I brought something to gamelive recently that I picked up from a co-worker.

It's the circle of life.

I spent the better part of 2 days editing that shit.

Today I went for 15-min walk around the block with the audio recorder to capture "street" sounds. The original footage shot in the alley was too quiet.

It's not the worst way to make a living, reno cool be damned.

No, Peter wrote a rough draft then we improvised as we were shooting different takes. I directed the action, filmed/recorded (audio and video are recorded separately) and then edited with my brand new Adobe Creative Suite subscription.
