Busting my ass for less money than I've made in about 15 years. Feels good to slowly grow one's own business though. Going on two years now. I keep on truckin'. 🚛
you're own business?! that's great!!! I should think you'd starting seeing more profit in the coming year or so. It takes time that's for sure, but the from sounds of things, you are certainly on the right track.

How's the wife and kid? kids? is she still working the same place/position she was a few years back?

I think I might be overdoing it. It's been a bunch of 6-days weeks in a row - with lots of hard physical work within those days. Plus staying late basically every one of those days.

I'm not feeling quite right - and my production stats are starting to sag.

I talk about being old quite a bit. I joke about it all the time with the 20-somethings at work. Sometimes I feel like I play that card too much.

But it's also true.

We may be through it. It was decided I didn't need to come in today so I am having a 2 day weekend.

Should be the first of many.

Typically, the super-hyper season is over. A whole lot of extra money has been made by the company and me personally. Now we revert to just normal very-busy-all-the-time.

Good.

Today in fact is profit sharing day. People are pretty excited about that. This year it comes to ~4K after taxes.

I put 100% of mine in my RRSP so I don't get that big jolt when it shows up in the bank account ready-for-spending - but it's good.

I've already had my yearly review. That went well so it should be a good performance bonus. That one, I do send to my bank account. That will show up 2 weeks from today I believe (??)

Assuming they don't surprise me with an unexpected mega-raise like last year, it will be a normal healthy raise.

Got a week off in a few weeks.

Good times.

Nah man. No money to he made online - all bots and nits.

You hit the casino, you target donks and you play for straight cash, homie.

Just don't decide you're a douchebag for playing poker for a living and dump your profits into a work from home recruiting job that you're not good enough at, or you might find yourself out of the game for awhile.

Ding ding ding.
