But it doesn't change the fact that the laws were still broken. Same thing with all the DNC email hacks. Just because they were hacked and published doesn't change what was written in them in the first place. The drugs were already illegal. The "war on drugs" didn't change that.

Laws are often broken. Especially when you have desperate/poor people. Also if you put everyone under a microscope you will find something to bust most people with.
The implication is that the state decided that this is how they will deal with the public, instead of building up the cities and empowering the people.
Ie, they will transfer public funds to various organizations (enriching whatever cronies) under the guise of crime control.
This includes police organizations, court bureaucracy, prisons, jails etc.
Then you add for profit prisons and slave labor to give more incentive to lock up as many as possible, and it's a very scary situation.

So the bastards basically brought back slavery or worse, meanwhile they run around saying how much we love MLK and Jackie Robinson. And they managed to get a black sell out as President to oversee the whole thing. Very impressive


As far as the dnc hack or leak, they just trying to deflect attention from people seeing their true colors. And of course they assume they can fool everybody with their Russia hate. Because the only thing these establishment fucks like more than enslaving poor people is starting wars in foreign countries. :sparesomecutter: yep

So you think people get thrown in jail to provide the state with free labor?
 
thats part of it. Probably a smaller part. Most of it is funding for these bureaucracies.
Somebody's getting paid how many thousands to keep a person in jail? It's not the prisoner that's getting it. And every time people start complaining about crime that gives them an excuse to funnel more money.

I understand that some criminality is inevitable. But when you have the largest prison population in the world, it's a good indicator that there are systematic and deliberate tactics.

I agree and disagree. There are very low income rural areas throughout the country as well. They do not have the same drug issue. They also have poor educational foundations, low employment opportunities (although that may undergo a change in the near future) but they do not have the same drug crime stats as the urban. Only around 2% of rural areas in the US are farm land.

And the majority of the court systems in the US have deferred prosecution with drug arrest. All that is needed is a completion of a drug rehab program and so many months of clean drug screens. The arrests for manufacturing drugs and dealing are much stiffer. Those involve someone making a decision to break the law and should be held responsible for that decision.

The ones around here are small-timers and do this on their own. I've never of heard of motorcycle gangs involved in any organized drug selling activity here. If there is any activity of a decent size, chances are they are from Chicago.
 
Also of course, the long term issues are a concern. When the technology and robotics etc.. make most jobs obsolete what are they gonna do with the people? Since nobody feels anybody owes anybody a living, the govt/elites don't need to provide anything for the masses. Are they gonna sink the masses into poverty? Most options to make a living will become criminal, and half the country can be thrown in prison? ...That's where we might be headed.

That has happened thruout history. All of the inner city schools I know offer free college education to their graduates for two years after. Few take advantage of it. That's not the system's fault. It is much cheaper for the community to pay for a inner-city kid to go to junior college than to pay for a lifetime of welfare and jail.
