Yes the whole place - actually two facilities fairly close together in Brampton, ON - are relocating in early 2017 - moving into one place which is about twice the size of the two combined. That is in Milton, ON FWIW.

This was made very clear from step 1 of the interview process.

I will probably move. I could commute to the new place from here - I guess it would be about 50 minutes each way - but I hope to find a place inside 10 minutes away. Slightly unfortunate because I really I do like this building where I live, but I feel like I am too old to be spending that much of my life in a car in traffic. There is nothing really tying me down here. Jenny may move too but that is another discussion.

I'll probably start looking as soon as I feel secure in the job. Maybe as soon as a week or two. The commute from the future building to the current building is less than my current commute - if you get my meaning - so I can do that any time.

Priority on finding a place where I can BBQ.

Just waking up and don't think I have time to hit PF, will see if I can squeeze in some work at the gym at this hotel then I guess a wrap from wawa before going back to the casino

Man, life is soooo difficult for us working stiffs

Being pc at work is very difficult. So when I'm sitting next to the dealer yesterday and someone says about what I don't even know what "I'm gonna put it in her box" and she subtly says to only me without smiling "that's what he said" I then notice she's extremely hot and just about jizz my pants.

Work is hard, I hope you're tucked, arrived in a timely manner and are having a great time, Muddy.

Just remember to impress your superiors because their lives are important and yours is not.

Having the offer outlined was like a weird dream where you keep finding money. First, there's the hourly pay. Then there's one regular bonus. Then another. Then there is profit sharing which comes out right before Christmas.

Also RRSP. Just set myself up for that today. Company matches your contribution dollar-for-dollar up to 4%. So another couple grand more give or take.

It is a weird and unaccustomed situation. I keep finding money.

Big morning this morning. I had my first full day of just working on my own yesterday - no training or side jobs - so it will be interesting to see how I did on the stats vis a vis proximity to the required standard that has to be maintained to remain employed.

Newbies get like a good month to get there - because there is a predictable level of fumbling around and having to stop and ask questions and shit for awhile. I did a healthy dose of that yesterday. But it will be interesting to see how far off I am.

And day 2 I was actually up the list quite a bit, even ahead of some guise that have been there 2 weeks longer. My production went from 76 to 136.

No idea what to expect when I look at the list this morning. Felt like a I had a decent day yesterday but with a few considerable lulls as I learned to do a couple jobs I hadn't done before. Those were definite speedbumps in my day. So we shall see.

Getting a feel for these stats ---> it's an ongoing process. :dunno:

So I was sent off to a different department today and the main guy I was working with ----> looked exactly like Reno. Stunning resemblance.

So my first thought is, hmm, I wonder if he is from that same part of the world? Eastern Europe, Belarus, whatever the case may be. Maybe I am discovering regional characteristic features.

Well I never actually did ask him about his roots but his name is Julio.
