:megarock: Get it Muddy.

My partners and I met with our company lawyer yesterday to sign papers and a shareholder agreement. I'm officially CEO of a corporation that's not just one person.

:cripwalk:

I was called today to act as a reference for my one black friend and I got to use my new CEO title. Feltgoodman. Told the woman on the phone that if she wasn't going to hire my friend, I would.

I sure as hell can't afford an employee, but how would she know.

:chickendance:

One of my references is my ex. They said they wanted 3 references - and I said I only had 2 since I was self-employed for the first ~10 years of the millenium and I don't have a reference from my current employer.

HR woman asked if I had any customers when I was self-employed. I said I had investors who were partners in a way. She said she was okay with that. So my ex.

If it's okay with all y'all, it's okay with me.

My ex says great things about me. Keeping on good terms ---> it can pay.

There is No such job. It's just that some place's assholes are better than others.

If you were to describe the perfect job what would you be doing? What is the company culture? Size? Project focus? What do you do and what are you qualified for and is that relevant to what you want to do next ?

I'm getting my masters in organizational leadership right now. I'm in staffing - but not in the way that you all probably think about it - i'm a headhunter - I know you I think I'm just some party girl fuck up - but I can help you... If you answer these questions honestly .

Taking the LSAT's in September. I'll see how that goes and go from there. I need learn how to sell my experience. Someone is writing a resume for me since I haven't used one in probably 7 years. All my jobs have been word of mouth.

I wonder if there are any posters here who just played poker at the casino from roughly 4 pm yesterday to 8am this morning and won $182 for an hourly wage of approximately $16.54 not accounting for waitress and dealer tips?

It is hard damn work grinding like that, people.

Sincerely,
Mepro

That's all I want: to be able stand up and announce that our long national nightmare is over

June 1st.

Kinda wanted to give 2 weeks notice here - and that is a day and a half less - but what am I going to do? Take a stand with my new employer on that?

No. June 1st.

The question is, will they even want notice here? Everyone who has left since I have been here has basically been escorted straight to the door. Most of them were either sales people - so that kinda makes sense, not wanting them to pilfer all the customer database - or some people were let go in a thinning of the herd - so I'm probably not in the same category. But we'll see.

I'll let the boss know when he gets back from lunch.
