Possibly the dumbest thing I have ever read (and I've read a lot of dumb things).

This article was written with a feminist protocol in mind. Women hate the fact that at age 39 they become invisible to men and men get better with age.

I have gotten more twenty year old girls in my thirties then I did in my twenties. I hardly believe I am an anomaly.

Shocker, this was written by a woman.

I'm 39 and I have been with 3 girls their early twenties this year.

Ok, Casperpoo. That is fine and I'm happy for you but that's not what you said in your first post.

:handshake:

For a fluff piece, I think this article is spot on. I noticed a pretty significant decline in looks I would get in public from younger, attractive women right around the age the author suggests.

Everything I said in my initial post is still spot on. Here is a fact. If you go to raves and clubs that cater to the young twenties crowd you are more likely "invisible" then if you go to a lounge catering to mature adults.

Same goes if a twenty year old guy goes to a cougar bar.

It's where you hang out, not how old you are.

This woman is a joke. The article is a joke. Her platform and intention in writing this article is to make herself feel better that she is fat and ugly and can't get men.

hahaha. I didn't even read the article. Just saw the piece on the view and googled the link. Sounds like Casper is a little defensive though...are you on the cusp of the 39?

It's just a number. Obviously on a whole, most men and women both will become less attractive over time. I don't know the science behind the study as didn't read the article, but found it funny and knew would get some people riled up.

Personally I like older men. It is about where you go though....you don't want to be seen as the creepy old guy hanging out at a place occupied with young twenty somethings.

I take it personally because as a 39 year old male I don't like fat pasty feminists writing bullshit for the sake of making themselves feel better.

If I wrote that 39 year old women were invisible because of physical factors, the article would be considered mysoginistic and spiteful.

I also hate knowing she gets paid to write such crap.
