I am leaning under here, Schalke is tough team at home but they have been in very poor form in domestic league play and beating Inter Milan is not what the great accomplishment it once was. The Under is the best play but I am taking Man-u at a pick as well.
Schalke will need to score one here or they are going to be in trouble at the return match at old trafford, and if they press it opens up a chance for a counter attack and Manchester certainly has the attackers with guys like Nani and company. United seems to have everyone back except berbatov and schalke has some key players missing, Manchester is certainly the more experienced team, and when it comes down to it, Manchester is not Inter milan by a long shot.
The Germans have been a thorn in Fergusons side for though, witness last years ouster of the red devils by Bayern Munich.
The under seems like the best play as a scoreless draw seems a miserable reality, look at Manchesters results so far on the road in champions league play.
1-0 in Chelsea
0-0 in Marseille
1-0 in Valencia
1-0 in Glasgow
3-0 in Bursa
An interesting stat I saw on BBC, Manchester United are yet to concede a goal during their five away games this term but Schalke have won every single one of their home matches in the Champions League this season.
The under seems the best play, first half and Game. I am taking Manu U at pk as well.
Cheers
