What happened to Xstud? He was gone before I got here.

The last time I ate fast food was when we were hiking the Pacific Crest Trail last year. There's a McDonalds in a town that goes right through the trail. You hit it about a month into the hike. It's legendary. People get up at like two in the morning to get their 20 miles in so they can lounge around McDonalds in the air conditioning all day, stuffing their faces with calories. It's quite a stinky, hiker mob scene in there during that window of the trail. Backpacks and poles everywhere with dirty bedraggled people laying across the booths mixed with regular McDonalds eating folk.

I LOVE Big Macs. With this next exception, I haven't had one since I was a kid. At the McDonaldland Mecca, I ate two Big Macs minus the meat (still surprisingly good), I would have to guess a few large fries, a steady stream of soda and a couple of apple pies. Then, we walked down the street to subway and ate more. 20 miles a day, 6 days a week, and you can afford those kinds of calories.

Does Taco Bell count? I'll eat an occasional bean burrito with sour cream. It doesn't seem all that unhealthy though. Mr. X eats Taco Bell a few times a week: bean burrito with sour cream, Mexican pizza no meat and a cherry Pepsi. He's a pretty easy guy to feed. He can also eat anything he wants. The guy has the metabolism of a hummingbird.

I LOVE pizza. If I feel like going off the wagon, New York style cheese pizza is the perfect food of the gods.
