In the little bit I read of the article, it said there was some question if the photo was fake. Someone was analyzing the long shadows against where the sun would have to be versus the direction of the coastline or some damn thing.

Seems like a mighty obscure thing to fake. Not sure what the profit would be.

Not sure what would be more pointless: faking that photo or doing an in-depth analysis of the shadows in it.

No question it is a bobcat though.

A spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has said she believes the image is genuine.

FWC's Liz Barraco told WESH 'There is no reason to believe it's fake.'

The bobcat exhibited typical behavior, FWC officials told the NBC affiliate station.
 
But yet sometimes I feel like the Bobcat. Who am I.

Really, who are any of us. You can eat your steak dinner and then go into the wild and be mauled by a grizzly bear, and in the end we all die and get eaten by insects.

What we are, is fodder.
