I can't stand it when people claim that having a child changes everything. Like "wait til you have a child then you'll understand." Like that is the one life experience that 1) changes EVERYTHING or 2) cannot be fathomed without ACTUALLY experiencing it.

I don't know why we let people who haven't had a child opine on/do ANYTHING. If these child-having people are so qualified at life why aren't they just telling us all what to do and think? Why would we let anyone who doesn't have this (admittedly) unique and valuable experience do anything?!?! It's surely to be wrong or fail since someone who has yet to procreate is clearly severely lacking in some sort of intellectual and experiential development that can ONLY be fulfilled by having and raising a child. Fucking tools.

:lmao:

It doesn't change *everything*, but it is more transformative than you expect.

Personally, I'm glad that there are childless people around, they tend to be workaholics and they pick up the slack for us underslept zombies.

Rape. I think it's heinous and disgusting and intolerable. But if you have a daughter you think all these things on a whole 'nother level? People without daughters should never even think about how terrible rape is, they're wasting their time. Their unenlightened view of love for a female simply cannot support the horror that is rape. "Just wait 'til you have kids."

Get out of here with that business. You're a fucking idiot (not addressed to anyone here).

Definitely no argument from me in reference to the 2nd paragraph of your post but, yup, definitely the one life experience that changes EVERYTHING and cannot be fathomed without ACTUALLY experiencing it.

:greencheck:

Having more than one child magnifies the aforementioned things.

Boner, I didn't think you would give up so easily! Maybe in your case it might be different cause of all the book reading you have had to experience in becoming a lawyer! Lots of child rearing books out there for you!

Like I said totally agree with Matty and to a lesser degree Tron!
