That actually sounds like a nice weekend, I miss the weekly dinners with my mom.

Not much, run a few errands, we were talking about going for a picnic this weekend somewhere, so that will be nice.

Good evening Kato. I responded ad nauseam in your other thread. The more I hear about kids starting things in grade school these days, sex, drugs, guns, etc, the happier I am that I am not sending children to school in this age.

Yup, having kids in this age is a constant anxiety. I love my girls, but I know how things are now, and I worry for them, but all we as parents can do is be always be open and honest with our children. Don't make them obey the rules because they are scared, but because they respect you, because you offered them truth. Growing up my mom was honest and open and sex and drugs, and her experience with them, as a result, I never did either till I was about 17. When I did, I could talk with her about it, and she would teach me how to enjoy things, but be safe...and I was for a while....the rest is a long story. You can't turn your back on your kids, especially in their teen-young adulthood years, that's things can really go wrong.
