kato's good mourning/good evening thread

:lmao: Most white people don't know how to move their hips. IMO is the secret to real dancing.

You guyz are probably right about the big O being why I not only slept so well, but feel so great this morning. :megaman::choke:

I'm jealous on all counts....mostly the sleep....took me 2 ambien and 5 hours to finally fall asleep. Glad someone is getting some (again, all counts)

Have you tried Lunesta? that's what when I can't sleep....assuming I haven't exceeded the drink limit.
You need a toy :winkwink:

I tried it once or twice but it left this really nasty metallic taste in my mouth. I used to have a great toy, but threw it out after getting obsessed with the feeling I was going to die and my family would find it in my drawer. I know...weird.

:lmao: You should get a new one. You really should. Plus, if you're dead, you can't be embarrassed, so really, what's the difference?!
That's odd that it left a taste in your mouth! Do you eat before bed, read, shower/bath, watch tv? Like what's your routine, have you tried anything different? Did you know that you dream about the last thing you see or hear before you go to sleep? Did you know that you usually only remember the dreams you have in your deepest state of sleep, and it actually wasn't the last thing you dreamed about?!

Lets see, couple of tricks I use sometimes - counting backwards. Lay in bed, preferably on your back tighten every muscle in your body, then one by one relax them....works like a charm for me. I'm a restless sleeper, and sometimes I think I have RLS....drives Steve nuts.

I've had insomnia off/on for as long as I can remember so I've tried about everything. I guess that metallic taste is a common side effect of Lunestra..weird.
I think I have a variety of RLS also....also weird. I will try the sequential muscle relaxing thing you recommended...thanks! Usually an ambien and a Xanax type med will do the trick but sometimes they just don't. :( The gym helps I think too and I missed it yesterday. Well "missed it" is probably a misnomer. Going to the doc this morning....I'll see what she says. Have a good day all!

Steve is the same way. He's up between the hours of 3am and 6am like clockwork, every night. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be. I would also recommend some kind of relaxing bedtime routine. Maybe try some Yoga or meditation before going to bed, it may help clear your mind and help rest to come easier.
