Xpy, it would take a lot to offend me. My skin is extremely thick. I tend to think large scale and agree that the line was crossed. I will not lose any sleep over it though. I agree with enigma that PC has become extremely lame, but I also believe that common sense should be the determining factor in most cases. Unfortunately common sense isn't taught and isn't easily acquired.
 
Memories Re-Visited...

Back when i was 20 lived with 2 dutch, 1 taiwanese and 1 brazilian female(s), all within 1-2 years age of each other.

Anyway long story short, after knowing them for around 18 months im hangin out with the taiwanese bird during a cultural festival in the CDB and we're watching a asian acrobat perform multiple flips, kicks and jumps, when on one of his moves he fluffed the landing after having performed most of the routeine so well.

I then chirp up with "so, he does have a chink in his armour", only to be met with "why are you so racist",? "I always knew you were one of them". Boys, this was a kick in the belows for me and still carry around the guilt of having hurt her.

The status of our relationship changed from that exchange onwards and was never the same, no matter how much i tried to make things right.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. So long as you learn something from the pain of hurting another, even if it is unintentional...

TRUTH...If only the application of theory was easy as theorizing itself...Y our politicans dont preach a greater awareness and acceptance for mankind with good intent is beyond me. Instead choosing to focus on the small percentage of bad apples....

Roguey one of my mates was a bit of a rougheck back when who used to open his mouth when on the hero juice...Was the nicest guy when straight though, hence y we were mates...

These ladies were educated and he was grade 9 dropout cutting down trees for a living...Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Looking back i can see how she wouldve gotten that impression based on this...
 
Would someone explain to an ignoramus like myself why is the phrase "chink in the armor" racist?

I have been called by plommer many times as a butt fukker and never thought of it as racist. I thought of it more as a joke.
