Inception - a review

As time has passed and I have thought more about it, my opinion of it has gone down.

I have only seen it once, and really enjoyed it. I wasn't exactly sure what to take away form the last scene but I believe I got it.

Don't want to ruin it for Matty. Oh wait, after re-reading I see Muddy kinda gave it away a bit.

The appearance of his kids were what sold it for me, as we never really got to see the top stay up or go down.

Good flick. I give it an 8. One of the better pictures of the year.

I wouldn't say I found it lacking in substance. I just found the substance to be very pained.

- here's an idea, there are some guys who can enter and influence someone else's dream. Okay, interesting enough. I'll see where it goes.

- but then what if there is a dream within a dream? That's twice as interesting right? Hmmmm.

- but if that's so great then a dream within a dream within a dream must be 3 times as amazing, right? Actually no, now you are getting diminishing returns .

- and then ANOTHER LEVEL OF DREAMS!!!! Stop.

- and what if time passes at different speeds in the dream levels. It's all so complex and amazing it must be super-intelligent, right? I don't know how intelligent but it's busy, I'll give you that.

Exactly my point. How is that substance?

It was dorky, not intelligent one bit. Stop explaining/playing with the fokken mechanics and do something meaningful with it. You didn't. You sok.

Felt like a demo to something promising. Abortion of an inception.
