Coincidentally, I ended up purchasing the Trek 7000 yesterday. Great bike. Looking forward to explore the Bronx, Harlem, staten isle, and other dangerous areas that I can dodge bullets at. :

Watch out, did you make sure you bought the U lock?

If you buy any other lock it can easily be hacked sawed through but the ones they recommend cant be cut with anything non heavy duty.

what makes you think that? One I just bought brand new three weeks ago, it broke down, the other was left in an apartment we used to live in.

The guy tried to sell me the Kryptonite U-Lock for $64. I ended up buying the BullDog U-Lock for $48. Am I gonna get jacked now or what?

im referring to U locks in general if u just buy the rope type combination locks it can easily be sawed off,

locks like that can be cut off easily.
