I'm looking to purchase a Bike

Any bike experts here? I don't know much...I have owned a beach cruiser in the past, a few of you might recall my old thread titled 'Rasta Bike'. Thinkin' more of a commuter to tour the city. A straight road bike is kinda uncomfortable, leaning towards a Hybrid.
My radar is currently on the Giant Cypress ST.

Any recommendations?
