You asked, you shall receive. In the 90's bilateral wrist fusions. Looking at full wrist replacements over the next yr. or so. Ya ya, too much masturbation, heard it before. Right ankle fusion which lead to a full right hip replacement. Just walking two months ago stepped on a small stump and broke my metatarsal in right foot. Bone density tests show I have strong bones but bad luck. Two weeks after surgery I end up in hospital with a blood clot from groin to knee. That was a 4 day stint. Only 52, and young one at that, but considering, I am doing very well, lol, I exercise daily but have contracted osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. Would never know if I did not tell people.

Sorry to hear Kid all this crap and saw where you were tested for density but not that which was what I was thinking! Didn't know there were wrist replacements! What procedure is done with that? Must be pain 10X the carpal tunnel thing!

Last week the trainer girl had me doing a lot of stuff with a resistance band on the wall (rows/curls/pushups) etc...my arms shaking and my neck felt unstable for a lot of it. Then we walked around the track with free weights above our heads. Didn't notice anything til like 4 days later.

now my shoulder/arm/neck are killing me. I can barely raise my arm...even a little. It feels really fucked up. When I kind of circle it around, I hear a popping sound. Hurts to sleep on it.

Any ideas what this is? Can a shoulder hurt this bad without being something like a rotator cuff tear/dislocation or something? Any recommendations on how to make it feel better or should I go to a doctor? Never had an issue with my shoulder other than regular fatigue type stuff.

Looks like a few of you had shoulder injuries. Did you ever get an MRI Blitty? I just skimmed the thread, but looks like you were having a problem. I know nothing about shoulders.

Injuries suck.

Sorry to hear, IAG.

I never got the MRI. Started feeling better after a few weeks. Basically back to 100% and played a game yesterday without shoulder pads. :megarock:

Ok good to hear. I'll wait it out then. Just freaked me out as I had never had an issue there.and that popping/snapping noise was disturbing. I'll just take it easy for a week or two on the weights. Thanks Blitty.

Hot coworker - You kinda look pasty, you still sick?
Me - Yeah.
Hot coworker - It's been what now, over a week?
Me - Yeah.
Hot coworker - Are you gonna go see a doctor?
Me - Nah.
Hot coworker - You're such a guy.

See that MrM?!? I'm such a guy!

:boxcleanersdaddy:

Hot is she? Well that's nice. Hot is nice.

I remember the family doctor I had from the age of 2 until he retired - I woulda been mid 30's.

Many times I went in there with some kind of pain or rash or whatever and he would say, "I guess I'll prescribe something if you want, but you can just give it time. The body heals itself."

Seems like I live by that philosophy today. Despite whatever little complaints, I haven't gone to a doctor in years.

The body does heal itself just fine. It does.

Not saying there aren't legit reasons to see a doctor but holy fuck people in this day and age FUSS AND SNIVEL TOO MUCH!
when in fact they would do just as well to CALM THE FUCK DOWN!

That is all.

We've had so much snow this year (plus I dealt with the backyard rink) that my left elbow hurts when I life anything heavy. Even groceries. The pain goes away with a few days rest, but then come back as soon as I lift anything. Someone said it might be tennis elbow, but who knows. My colleague gave me a tennis elbow test and the pain wasn't there when he did the test. I think I have tendon issues. Not sure.
