Wonder why they dropped the ceiling in the kitchen to a lower elevation then the rest of your first floor?
I don't know. I always wondered about that..does seem low..the living room next to it has a stone fireplace that goes up to a loft that overlooks the living room so really no ceiling in there.Wonder why they dropped the ceiling in the kitchen to a lower elevation then the rest of your first floor?
I'd imagine they did it for no good reason at all....I'd come out there but we'd probably never leave the bedroom.![]()
I know it had something to do with fire escape and/or light...but definitely related to the window... I'm thinking light. In any case, we got it done. It turned out pretty well, but needs some touch ups.Wow i know about minimum natural light parameters on new construction and large scale remodels but never would have thought it would possible affect your typical homeowners.
I think it's safe to say that we all grew a little closer today, thanks to our appliances.

me tooWe've only seen 4 microwaves...frankly I'd like to see a few more.
Mine is usually clean for one or two days following Lori being here...splatters exist on the other days. The inside of mine is spotless which is surprising for doing a job that's a cross between a garbage man and a cave man.
hahahahaYa know we all just stand around and hit shit with hammers and throw dirt on each other.
