Remember, no one ever has a BFF that is only in it because the other person is "such an amazing friend". Everyone has specific needs that are filled by being in a BFF scenario.

I'll give you my own personal example:

My current BFF and I have a ton in common. Were both Italian, we both have a son, we both love sports betting/NL Hold Em and we are both in the same line of work.

But we need each other for completely different reasons.

I need him because he gives great life advice and helps me navigate mini-crisis and he needs me for 2 reasons: I'm younger and fitter than him (I bring him into my world) and he needs someone to celebrate his poker/sports wins with because no one else he knows can appreciate them for what they are.

You're Italian Daft? I thought Bread said you were Asian? Not that it matters I don't have a preference nor do I disciminate, we are all God's/Universes children.

I'm kind of like you are to your BFF with all my friends. I am older than the majority of my friends and tend to be the one they can all talk too. Speaking of Bread he could use someone like us in his life from time to time if for no other reason than to give Robyn a night off.

I feel bad for Inter.

If Liverpool sell Torres and/or Gerrard, I am dumping them as my team.

Actually, selling them won't be a bad move. Gerrard is aging and it they can get a good price for him then he should go. And Torres' stock will (most likely) never be higher so if you've got Inter bidding for him against Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid then you'd be a fool not to sell him.

I suppose I do have a BFF. Not that we would ever say that to each other or hug or shit like that. But we have known each other since we were locker partners in grade 7 at the age of 11-12. We have always stayed friends and been through a lot of good and bad and we have a lot of memories.

Now as middle aged dudes we have moved away from where we grew up but we still live close together and we do stuff together pretty regularly and talk/e-mail all the time. I would be amazed if we don't remain in close touch until one or both of us dies.
