Why are the miscarriage odds so high?

They just are. As soon as something goes wrong with the baby, the body rejects the fetus. Apparently a lot of women get pregnant and never know cause early miscarriages can be mistaken for a period.

Global miscarriage rates are like 70%. At our stage it's still like 50%.

So I really should've shut up. We're rooting for a -110 prop to come in.

But like I said, we're totally up for it and we're gonna keep trying if this doesn't work out.

bastard child - Child born with unwed parents or with a father that isn't mothers husband.

last week i heard 'love child' on an oldies station, you might like it.

I'll go with Love Child but try to avoid any of the 2 possibilities!
