I have two wonderful sons (5 and 7 YOA).

Take a long vacation with your fianc before she reaches 6 months.

It will be your last long vacation for a very long time.

You're welcome and congratulations.

PS.....start saving for college from infancy. It softens the blow.

We got 4 years tuition for our oldest for $12K total (lump sum price).

I have mixed feelings about paying for education. I paid for college on my own. Same for the GF and she's a postdoc. (Mind you a good education costs almost nothing here in comparison.)

I don't want my kid to be like my GF's coworkers either. :wah: My kid is not mysteriously gonna own a $500k condo on a teacher's assistant salary (near minimum wage).

We traveled all over the place last year. We might still do London, UK in August but I don't feel the need to. I think I'm just about ready for the baby cyclone to hit my life right now. (Famous last words, I know.)

I know its kinda wrong but the more I read this thread the more sorry I'm feeling for you Matty.

I wanna say congrats but the other part of me is screaming "RUN"...

Anyway, if its what you want then big congrats to you aand yours Matty. May the little bundle of joy bring much happiness to your life.

Jan. 8, you?

I'll gladly run the Teela/Matty GL Baby Race Pool

:gambol:

I've heard anywhere from January 1st through the 13th.

I wouldn't have said anything about mine if his mother hadn't taken the ultrasound picture that I sent her and posted it on facebook. So much for waiting another month to announce it.

At least you'll know not to make the same mistake when baby #2 is in the oven.
