This Blue Jays offense just won't be denied. It's not just the homers. They work the count and draw walks and foul balls off and make pitchers work.

They remind of that old Red Sox team with Wade Boggs and Dewey Evans and a bunch of guys that used to piss me off because they just would not sit the fuck down.

Nice to be on this side of that kind of infuriating offense.

This Betances guy is nuts. I wonder how he's toiling as a set-up guy.

14.5 K's per 9 innings. Opponents batting average, if I heard correctly, is 120-something ??

I guess he's young and his career will take shape. And I'm not criticizing Andrew Miller.

But damn, seems like Betances has to be closer - or a starter - or something.
 
I like all the baseball love in here. I'm very pro-bandwagon baseball fans.

I was a bandwagon fan in 1997 when the Marlins had the Wild Card in their sights.

The end of the 1997 baseball season got me back into baseball after a 8 year hiatus.
