Pitt firing th GM and coach today.

Funny thing is up until USA loss to Canada in Olympics Bylsma looked like a genius. I felt he deserved a lot of credit for how well team usa was playing and figured he's tactics were responsible for much of Pittsburgh's success.
Guess they're gonna bring in some goon from the 80's and toughen up the team or whatever.

After I made my post asking about him, it suddenly occurred to me, oh shit, could be someone on the forum. There are a lot of names on Facebook that I know - or I am pretty sure - are forum people even though I don't know who they are.

Oh shit, I sez to myself, I may have just called someone on the forum a major lame-o.

But then I sez to myself, I sez: who the fuck cares? If they are posting awful shit like that, they need to be told.

I considered the possibility that maybe it was sadcat. It seemed like that caliber of posting.

I shouldn't be too hard on sadcat. I did not read very many sadcat posts before deciding, okay, no more sadcat for me. Granted, the posts I read were not good, but it would not be considered a statistically significant sample. One might argue I did not give sadcat a fair shake (although one might also make the counter-argument: "meh.")

I'm almost afraid to ask but did we ever get to the bottom of who sadcat is?

I think I'm going to grade his play in the BB thread for one unit. He's obviously just trying to do it right and got excited.

Sad-puffyshirt? That hasn't even registered with me. If I saw it, my brain must have instantaneously auto-rejected it.

See here's the problem with all this. At some future time, there may be a new signup on the forum who wants to call themself sad-something - and it may be a decent, entertaining person with a good reason for the handle - and I will never read their posts because I am now defaulting to sad-anything ---> skip it.

I might never meet the person who should be my future wife because of stupid gay shit.
