I've been to Denver once and I loved it. Saw a concert at Red Rocks as well, went to Capital City, saw the Stanley Hotel (Shining) in Estes Park but only had a couple days there.

This time around I will be there for about a week.

X family help me out here. Some stuff I absolutely HAVE to do in the Denver area...

Also was thinking of staying in Boulder, don't know much about it just like the looks of the town. No reservations set, nothing, just have the time off of work. It's after our full inventory at work and I will need a vacation. First week of September.

One idea that came to mind is the Colorado/Colorado St. Rocky Mountain Showdown is on Sept 4th. I think that will be our last day in Colorado. Anyone got hookups for tickets? Saw some on eBay but $350 for 2 seems steep. 50 yard line though.

Any suggestions, except I think we will be staying on the east side of the Rockies. I hear Durango and the SW corner are amazing, just don't feel like making the trek.

I'll keep an eye out for anything remarkable to do in that window.

If you want to save a buck or two, you're welcome to crash with us some or all of the time. We're about 15 minutes from Denver and 15 minutes from the mountains.

If you have any desire to rock climb, I can take you. There are some excellent walls 20 minutes away.

I'll let you know what else I think of.

You might not be old enough but when I was in denver I went to mork and mindy's house in bolder the one they show at the beginning of the program. I also sneaked into mile high stadium and took some pictures because nothing was happening sports wise when I was there.

24/7 I am not old enough, but I remember the show. Did you eat some of your jizz while you were there? Say yes.

Mrs. X I am a complete gentleman, do not worry.

Thoughts on:

Hot springs
White water rafting
Some killer restaurants/bars/winery etc

Thanks for the offer on the rock climbing Mr X, but Cougar is a similar to a cat in many ways. What hair I do have would probably stand straight up.

Long answer short..... NO

We believe you my friend! But just to give it one final question to end this. I learned this from watching Perry Mason. :light:

With your known drinking binges when taking trips away from home, did you ever black out and wake up in the morning with your chin feeling sticky and stuff?

And please people, no more silly questions for 20four7 regarding his love for his own jizz! The guy's a pro!

Mrs. X please save this thread!

Colorado info not involving jizz!

I will bring my own

I would respectfully request that you not bring any "jizz" into my household. Please get it all out before you come over.

That being said, white water rafting is a pretty cool thing to do. There are lots of companies around that set up day trips or overnight camping things. There are some great venues for seeing bands. The Westword would be your best bet for looking that up. There's a great Thai restaurant that we love and sushi place that I love (Mr. X isn't a sushi fan...I'm a hypocritical vegetarian that eats fish). There are some pretty great Ethiopian restaurants too. We're not big wine drinkers, but I've heard some mention of some really good wine bars in the city.

People like to hang out at the 16th street mall at night. Reno's favorite bar is the El Chipultipec. It's a jazz bar that's close to the mall. The mall being a long road with a trolley thing that cars can't go on. There are buskers, bars and restaurants and lots of people walking around.

You know Reno lives here too right? If you're looking to get into troubles, he's probably a better bet for that than us. We'll try our hardest, but Reno, he's pro.

Rockies game?
