I have been unemployed now for almost 2 months, and already my father-in-law is trying to make it sound like I am a total bum. I don't have the heart to tell him that I got a 26 week severance, and I make more in un-employment than he will make working plowing the field all year.

Then there is my mother, she is on my ass for finding another job as fast as possible, and if I can't find a job engineering something by September, I should become a high school teacher.
Sorry Mom, but I can't handle all that underage trim prancing around. I would go crazy or end up on the evening news with Rick Sanchez.

I try to tell the family that I can do nothing for around 3 to 5 years before I will feel uncomfortable and they should shut the eff up before I take all the cash and head for the Islands near Cuba, and say eff the world.
