RS...I think we stand a better chance at a good record at NOT riding winning streaks, as we all know they can be difficult to run past 2 games. By moving around to different guys, I think percentages of catching a guy with a stellar play ea night rises to some degree.

As long as the week is announced in advance and the guys involved know it's coming up, we won't have to deal with the last minute stuff as much.

but willing to go with majority on either way. like both ideas.

Alright Bread, your way is easiest to implement, let's roll with it. I'm a big fan of Occam's Razor.

Well I'm 5-0 on best bets. Here's another idea. Maybe the top couple people on the best bet thread each give 1 pick a day, and we pick between those.

Ideally the top two people in the Best Bet thread will have shared their best plays with us most days just by posting a Best Bet. I like your idea for its elegant simplicity, but I want to stay true to Bread's vision for this as a community building exercise.

OK let's just go with that then. If it doesn't work out, we tweak it again. We'll finish out this week the old way just so we can start a week with a Top 7 every Monday.

1-7 will be assigned. Backup guys will be 8-14 standings ea day of the week. Fear not, most of them will not get to choose any games, as there will be an announcement at beginning of week so everyone knows when "their day" is.

Still pick minimum of 2 games. if a guy REALLY doesn't like a 2nd game, i guess we will just go with that play and he will hear it if it misses.

Love it, especially the part about dipping a dude who only picks one loser in a vat of hate sauce for the night. That's why I got involved with this in the first place.

This is bullshit!!!! I have yet to make a pick. I demand to make a pick before others make multiple picks or I am taking my ball and going home. :crybaby:






Kidding. I could care less if I make a pick until baseball season as my picks would be from soccer which happen to early in the day for the group.
 
Of those two picks...I have to go with Western Carolina as well. Minnesota has been so hot and cold this season. As soon as you think they have given up for the year they put together a decent performance. Wisconsin is getting back one of their top players but that still doesn't account for the fact that they have played like garbage as of late.

I know that the Citidal has struggled this year and there were some higher expectations for that team this year. I haven't seen much or even heard of Western Carolina but looking at the stats and break down that Herman gave it seems like a solid play to me. So my vote is for Western Carolina.
